I am over the moon to win “Makeup Artist of the Year 2021/22” in the Yorkshire Prestige Awards.
This is now my 3rd award won since the start of the Covid 19 pandemic. 5th in total since starting my Makeup Artist freelance business 6 years ago.
Each award is special to me. They all represent something different. My very first one, a bridal makeup specific award, one which recognises my business ethics which I am very proud of. Of course the fact that 3 of them have come during a difficult time is particularly welcomed and appreciated.
2021 wedding season is currently in full swing and is feeling like a blur. I am being kept very busy with mid week weddings as well weekend weddings. On top of this I am carrying out my usual occasion makeup appointments, makeup lessons, microblading, lash lift/tints, brow lamination etc.
Peak season dates in 2022 are now full to the brim – between April to August. I am very limited peak season availability left for weddings. Get in touch if you are looking to book your date.
Anyway, I have a fabulous awards evening for the Yorkshire Prestige Awards to look forward to at Hazlewood Castle and Spa. It’s been a while since being able to attend events like this, so I guess that’s the perfect excuse for a new dress.
