A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to get my hands on the very gorgeous face of model Rachelle Rogue. I have followed Rachelle’s work for a while on social media and absolutely love her distinctive model look. I was delighted to find out that she liked my work too so we were introduced to each other by photographer Nelly Nelson of BigFoto Photography. Nelly has worked with Rachelle numerous times and I worked with Nelly only a short time ago for the first time and loved the results of the photoshoot so we arranged the shoot for last Thursday and enlisted the assistance of Lisa Douglas of LJ Hair for her creative ‘hurrrr’ expertise.
We decided to create a “space” inspired look after throwing lots of ideas around and although we had thought about doing a location shoot we decided to stay at North East Makeup Academy where we had got Rachelle ready for the shoot and used the rustic décor for our background instead.
Rachelle was such a fantastic model to work with – she needed very little direction and knew how to get the best of our session. She is a successful model from the North East but travels up and down the country for work
Here are some of our behind the scenes shots 🙂
Both Lisa and I thoroughly enjoyed our day with Nelly and Rachelle. I love Nelly’s style of photography. He would describe his work as creative fashion/portrait photography and his style is “right down my street”…. he likes to capture and create vivid colours which I also love from a fellow creative point of view.
Lisa Douglas is the owner of LJ Hair and her salon is based at North East Academy with her team of girls. Lisa is also a creative talent and we have worked together on several projects now.
So here are a few of our favourite final images… which one is your favourite??
