In March this year I saw a post on Facebook from a bride-to-be who had posted in a wedding forum that she was looking for a Makeup Artist for her bridal party makeup. Bride, Jessica had won the Gazette Dream Wedding 2016 prize required makeup to complete the package. The Dream Wedding is an annual prize sponsored by the Gazette which includes a wedding venue, dress, flowers, wedding stationery amongst other services to lucky prize winners – all supplied by suppliers around the North East.
After seeing Jess’s post, I sent her a link to my business details as did a lot of other Makeup Artists from around the North East and was delighted when she messaged me to book me for the wedding.
I met Jess and her bridal party (Georgina, Zoe and Amy and mum Jen) for a trial and knew they would all look fabulous on the wedding day…
Jessica and David were married June 24th 2016 at Crathorne Hall – a fabulous venue for wedding. I’m lucky enough to work there regularly doing bridal makeup. Photographer Paul King was there on the morning taking photos of the girls getting ready so it was nice to meet a new face…quite often I bump in to the same faces of other wedding professionals during the course of wedding season.
Jess and the girls looked absolutely beautiful on the wedding morning and it was such a privilege to be part of this particular special occasion.
