DIY Home pamper ideas during lockdown
In the grand scheme of things, missing out on our beauty treatment appointments isn’t the worst thing in the world during quarantine but self care is so important. Indulging in some DIY home pampering might not be such a stupid idea. Whether it is just a case of needing some quiet time away from the stresses of home-schooling, caring for loved ones or even just to give yourself a lift!
With the temporary closure of the beauty salons and services by freelancers, we have turned to googling “how to” guides for beauty home treatments. The sales of beauty products has soared during lockdown. The desperation for maintaining our beauty standards and little well being treats has been documented all over social media showing bad home hair cut results and tedious artificial nail removals.
Create your own spa with these beauty product recommendations
I have been working on putting together some beauty recommendations for you to create and enjoy your own home spa treat day!
From hair masks to luxury bath products to gadgets. I have you covered. By the time you are finished you can re-create your own home spa day any day of the week.

I also wrote an article recently on how to “nail” your lockdown manicure like Pro. During this strange time, we have to enjoy the process of learning new skills and having fun with beauty. The salons will re-open again. We will look back at this time and remember the laughs we had attempting our DIY beauty treatments. The wonky hair cuts, box hair colour disasters and makeup tutorial fails. Unique times call for unique actions! What is a gal to do?
Enjoy that pamper session,
